When the building manager asked me to lecture on the benefits of exercise at his staff meeting, I agreed but insisted on giving everyone a Nia class in order to practice all the points in my lecture. "I started Nia a few years ago with Carmen after I retired from teaching. Like many people I had always been too busy to say this is for me. What I love about Nia is there are no barriers for age, gender or two left feet, I have made good friends since joining and Carmen must be one of the most encouraging people on the planet.
